Un performance despre memorie, timp și istorie pornind de la ideea de loop și producerea casetelor loop. 

Istoria ca un loop. Poate fi rescrisă istoria? Sau doar re-ascultată? Sunetul ca o arhivă emoțională a unei tranziții interminabile de la sistemul sovietic socialist la o democrație neoliberală, de la o uniune la alta. O arhivă a istoriilor care nu au ajuns niciodată în manualele noastre de istorie.

Rescrierea casetelor ca un gest de propagandă. Loop-ul ca un gest politic. În care repetiția devine protest, memoria devine sunet, înregistrat, reînregistrat, șters și înregistrat deasupra, fragil, amnezic sau pur și simplu redus la tăcere.

Ce se întîmplă cu un discurs politic cînd îl transformi într-un sunet de ambianță? Ce rămîne din el? Ce dispare? Cine decide ce se înregistrează, ce rămîne și ce se șterge?

A performance about memory, time, and history, starting from the idea of the loop and the production of loop tapes.

History as a loop. Can history be rewritten? Or only replayed? Sound as an emotional archive of an endless transition from the Soviet socialist system to a neoliberal democracy, from one union to another. An archive of histories that never made it into our history textbooks.

Re-recording tapes as an act of propaganda. The loop as a political gesture. Where repetition becomes protest, memory becomes a recorded sound, erased, and recorded over again, fragile, amnesic, or simply silenced.

What happens to a political discourse when it is turned into background sound? What remains of it? What disappears? Who decides what is recorded, what remains, and what is erased?
