Film Screening - "Z" by Costa-Gavras

“Z” (1969) is a political thriller about a plot of a fascist government to kill the candidate from the opposition. It is a dangerous explosive film that causes righteous anger and desire to act on that emotion, — it is the main political thriller in history, plain and simple. Somehow it manages to be immediate yet timeless, bleak yet hopeful, harsh yet full of humor. It was first shown almost 60 years ago, yet it seems like it was made about the world today.
